Horizon, in the field.

Horizon blue is reserved for tactical moments — allied forces, data readouts, and info states inside game UI. It never appears on the marketing site. This page shows it doing its job, alongside Night and Ember, so the contrast is legible at a glance.

EMBER · You

The sun you're pointing.

Active unit ring, selected-squad name, movement radius, line of fire, FIRE action button. Exactly one Ember focal point per screen — the thing the player is about to do.

HORIZON · Signal

The allies, and the readout.

Allied unit rings, squad-link lines, the objective ping RELAY-B, tactical data panel, and unit tooltips. Horizon says friendly and information — never action.

NIGHT · World

Everything that isn't you.

Terrain grid, chrome panels, typography, hostile unit contours (dashed, unsaturated). Enemies live in Night so Ember and Horizon can do their jobs without competing for attention.

Three uses, one caveat.

01

Use Horizon for allied units and friendly indicators — squad rings, squad-link lines, buddy-AI pings. Ember is reserved for the unit the player currently controls.

02

Use Horizon for information surfaces — unit tooltips, tactical readouts, scan results, log overlays. Never for action affordances (those are always Ember).

03

Use Horizon for info-state messaging in product UI — neutral banners, link hints, help hotspots. Success stays Ember; destructive stays Night with warning tint.

NO

Never place Horizon on the marketing site, the logo, the launcher splash, merch, or social. It has no home outside tactical and data contexts. Five percent of the screen, maximum — treat it like a signal flare, not a backdrop.
